According to CNN, a man living in Brooklyn is laying claim to being the first person to catch all of 142 Pokémon that can be found in the U.S.
The man to first accomplish the feat, Nick Johnson, said in a cheeky interview that as a child its your dream but you never think it possible. Which of course is impossible considering the game was just released recently.
According to the interview it took Johnson just about 2 weeks to catch all of them. The 28-year-old said that he was certianly sleep deprived while on the mission to catch em all. And when not at work he’d spend full days on “Poké walks.” He claims playing the game didn’t really interfere all that much with his life., although that is a little hard to believe, esepcially since he stated he works close to 50 hours a week on average. He would meet up with his girlfriend after work to grab dinner and they would go out catching them together. Of couser when she called it quits he kept going, with her support.
