HTC one X9 was launched in India on May 2016 at a price of Rs. 25,990. The phone is built with a solid aluminum metal body and has a good display performance. The one X9 has a similar design with HTC One series.
It is a classic mid-range handset and includes a 5.5 inch display with 1080pixels resolution, 401ppI pixel density, 170g, a 13mp camera (f/2.0) dual-LED flash, 5MP rear front camera f/2.8, 32 GB of storage, dual-sim (dual stand by and Nano sim), corning gorilla glass, uses android 6.0 Marshmallow, octa-core 2.2GHz cortex – A53 CPU, Power VR G6200 GPU, 3GB RAM, micro USB v2.0.
HTC one X9 is designed with boom sound speakers that offer crisp sounds. The phone holds 4G networks without any difficulties. The handset is able to handle games with high graphics without any noticeable lag but it gets too warm after a long period of the gaming session. In low light settings the primary camera is quite impressive. The screen offers a multitasking experience; you can play games and watch videos. The phone has the capability of recording videos at 4000 at 30fps. A picture can be taken in HDR mode 27-degree panorama mode, hyper lapse, continuous shooting, and slow motion video recording. The battery life can run almost 15 hours with light usage within a day. The sense UI of HTC One X9 is solidly subtle. With the current price-point, the Smartphone has disappointed some users with the lack of fingerprint scanner.
The battery life and camera are quite disappointing, however; other improved features make it more appealing to users. In some cases, the potential customer would be better off buying the last version of flagship phones. It is available in JB HIFI stores at the price ranging from $699 outright in Australia
