iPhone 7 Review


Apple is now casting the cycle by introducing iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus that look similar to iPhone 6 but with some ameliorating features and with no headphone jack. It includes the following features; water resistance, the battery last longer, improved camera, 3GB ram, new Taptic Engine and Solid- state Home button.

Apple decided to remove the headphone jack and the iconic iPhone home button and opted to replace it with a pressure sensor and a haptic vibration technology that induce the feel of a button. It has a new A10 Fusion processor is faster than the previous version that was released in 2014. The processor is the first quad-core processor to be launched in iPhones. It will ship in with iOS10 software which has great improvements in Maps, News, Message, Photos, design and much more.

Having ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack, the iPhone will have a second speaker to bring the stereo more robust on iPhone 7. The iPhone users will have to use the Lightning port and the audio Bluetooth protocol. Apple claimed removing the headphone jack created more room for the Taptic Engine

The display of the iPhone 7 is 25% brighter than iPhone 6 with a wide range of colors. The resolution of iPhone 7 is 1334 by 750 pixels displaying images of 2208 by 1242 pixels scaling it at 1080p. It has the dual-lens camera with 12 megapixels and the front camera is 7 megapixels and f/1.8 aperture OIS. The improved cam functionality will capture better low-light images and videos. The screen will support a broader range of color gamut than it was before.

The new iPhone was released on 16 September. Pre-order on the phone are already selling out. The pricing depends on three models that will be released; 32 GB that cost £599, 128GB that costs £699 and 256GB iPhone the highest capacity model with a price tag of £799. We will have to be patient for the iPhone to be launched and perceive what feature will actually see the light of day.
