Samsung’s newly-released Galaxy J7 Prime was launched in Vietnam just recently. And now, the Korean tech company sent out invites for the September 19 launch event in India. The invite showcases a big J in it.
During its Vietnam launch, the Galaxy J7 Prime left the people in awe. With its full metal design and state of the art features like a biometric authentication scanner, which the 2016 Galaxy J7 does not have, the latest of the J series is a grab. Plus, it has 2.5D curved screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
How about the price? Some India-based retailers tipped that the new release could be more or less Rs 18,790, close to the price ranges of Oppo F1s and Gionee S6s. All three, including the Galaxy J7 Prime, is created with the selfie-centrics in mind. The F1s has 16 mp selfie camera, while both the Galaxy J7 Prime and the S6s have LED flash screens and 8mp face camera.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has specifications that will not let you down. From its 5.5-inch display, which comes in full 1080p IPS and 2.5D curved glass, to its octa-core processor that runs at 1.6GHz, not to mention its 3GB of RAM and Mali-T830MP2 GPU, the 7 Prime exceeds expectations. Onboard storage is 32GB and a microSD slot for up to 256GB expansion gives you humongous storage for all your media and apps.
Rear camera is a 13-megapixel wonder, and as we discussed earlier, the front cam is an 8MP complete with LED flash. It features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, microUSB, and 4G LTE connectivity. It runs in Marshmallow and powered with 3,300mAh battery.
Apart from the J7 Prime, there are leaks about Samsung also announcing the Galaxy J5 Prime soon with an expected upgraded hardware in a sleek metal unibody design.
The launch in India will surely be a big hit, with Samsung known in making quality, yet affordable phones (save for the Note7), the new Galaxy J5 Prime will definitely take India by storm.
